Brilliance in book format: The masterminds behind Parks & Recreation are churning out a text, “written” by Amy Poehler’s character Leslie Knope.
“Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America” will be a project published via Hyperion Books and NBC Universal Consumer Products Group. The book will be written by the staff writers on the series, and will debut on October 4th — strategically after the Primetime Emmy Awards (where there are several deserving little statues to give out).
The comedic book can be enjoyed by fans of the show and newcomers to the town of Pawnee alike.
